Since a large number of people play Call of Duty: Mobile, it has been receiving various updates quite regularly. It features an identical Battle Royale game mode as offered by PUBG Mobile and Fortnite, but the mechanics have been changed a bit.

Recently the game has received a new update with version 1.0.12. This has brought the new Season 6 titled ‘Once Upon a Time in Rust’. It features new maps, new game modes, and new Battle Pass content, along with other changes. For Android users, and iOS users the update is now live on the Google Play Store, and App Store respectively.

The new update does not only bring several new features including new characters, weapons, but it also brings new Battle Pass rewards for both free and premium tiers. All the new updates and latest features have been shared on the company’s Reddit page. Unfortunately, the company states that the updates will be released region by region and some specifics will only be shared once they are released.

Call Of Duty: Mobile new map: Rust

Rust is the latest map launched in Season 6, however, it was first seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This multiplayer map shows off close-quarters action and has an “incredible amount of variety offered through both the design and the many game modes it will be available on.” It will be accessible in 2v2 Showdown, Rapid Fire, and Hardpoint mode.

1v1 Duel Mode and Saloon Map

An additional new map has been added to Season 6 in Call of Duty: Mobile called Saloon. It will be available in 1v1 Duel and 2v2 Showdown modes. This mode will be available in mid-May.

New Modes

New modes including Capture the Flag: Gold Edition and Kill Confirmed have been added to the update too. In Capture the Flag, players will defend or seek out a chest of gold while. On the other hand in Kill Confirmed players will be required to collect dog tags off enemies they have killed. The modes will be available in early-May.

Battle Royale Changes

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 brings multiple changes to the battle royale mode as well. The Aerial platform will not be fixed in one position anymore and can be reached by strategic ziplines, according to the changes listed in the Battle Royale section. The layouts of Crash, Killhouse, Diner, Standoff, and other locations have been made optimal. The armor toughness has been improved significantly but Frag Grenades and Cluster Grenades can now bypass armor protection.

New weapons have been added in Battle Royale including S36, GKS, Annihilator revolver, and some new legendary attachments. Game developers also intend to incorporate the Battle Royale mode into gold themed events that will come in May.

Battle Royale Class – Poltergeist

This will be added to Battle Royale in late May. It can make the player invisible. This will allow players to have control over enemies. It will also allow them to escape situations where the odds are not in their favor. However, on the use of this ability, enemies nearby will be notified so players will have to plan accordingly.

Other Changes

Call of Duty: Mobile version 1.0.12 updates the Battle Pass as well with the removal of Battle Pass tasks meaning players will level up their Battle Pass by playing games. There are many other changes which include a new Event System, a Monthly Calendar, a new Operator skill called Annihilator, and a Battle Royale Class called Poltergeist.

The update can be downloaded from the Play Store where it is 1.85GB in size, while on the App Store, the game is 2.4GB.
