Precisely, for about three decades, Microsoft’s Notepad has always been part of the Windows Operating system. Being one of the most basic components of Windows, it is an extremely useful tool to work with. It is a simple app that enables you to edit and write plain text documents, and also work on source codes. According to Microsoft, this app can be used to “view, edit, and search through plain text documents and source code files instantly.”

This app was brought back to the Microsoft Store in the previous year in August, to be removed quickly. According to beta news, this app was brought back by Microsoft on the store again, offering a range of new features mentioned below. Microsoft decided to bring the app back to its Store after they allowed users to uninstall it from Windows 10.
